Course Objective: This course provides a foundational understanding of contract law, covering essential concepts such as the different types of contracts, contract formation, and the requirements for contract validity. Participants will learn the key elements of mutual assent, offer and acceptance, and consideration, while distinguishing contracts from gifts. The course will explore the legal capacity to enter contracts, the legality of contract terms, and the remedies available for breach of contract, including the various types of damages awarded. Additionally, learners will gain insights into arbitration, boilerplate clauses, and effective negotiation strategies.
