Required topics: Certified applicators need two general CEUs, including at least one in federal or state laws, pesticide safety, environmental protection, or integrated pest management (IPM), plus one CEU for each certified category.

CE deadline: December 31 each calendar year. CEUs earned during one calendar year support renewal in the following year.

License expiration date: Last day of the license's assigned expiration month, generally aligned with the associated business license.

Students are also required to submit the certificate of completion with the renewal.

Requirements may vary by license type and are subject to change. Licensees should confirm current requirements with the applicable licensing authority before renewal.

CEUs may be earned with approved Internet course every other year. No course may be repeated for credit within the same recertification year.

Structural applicators include the following license categories: Commercial Certified Applicator, Noncommercial Certified Applicator, Noncommercial Political Certified Applicator, Commercial Technician, Noncommercial Technician, Noncommercial, Political Technician and Commercial Business.
